Punch the monkey is an adorable baby macaque that was abandoned by its mother after he was born at Ichikawa City Zoo in Japan. Since taking in Punch, zoo staff has taken care of and raised Punch, and even given him a stuffed animal of a little monkey friend to take with him. Punch’s story has gone very viral online, getting the attention of many who want to support him.

I firmly believe that Punch deserves the most love and attention that a little monkey friend could ever want, I’m talking Ross and Marcel from Friends level relationships. Punch has also turned heads online from others who share similar stories of family loss or are just struggling right now.

Punch’s story has a lot of value in that he teaches us that we are not alone, and that we can seek help from others in times of need or crisis. We should follow Punch’s example and learn to persevere through challenges with as hopeful of a mindset as possible. Let us use this story about Punch to inspire us to be better to those around us who might be going through something equally as tough. For a monkey named Punch, let it be ironic that he teaches us love instead.
